NVC was founded at the end of 1998 with the ambition to become a world-class brand and an industry leader. We were the first company in the lighting sector to establish brand-specific specialist lighting outlets, supported by regional operating centres, and this strategy has been a revolutionary development for our industry and a key factor in our success. Since 2006 NVC has attracted investment from major institutions such as Softbank and Goldman Sachs, leading the way in the capitalization of China's lighting industry. In May 2010 NVC was floated on the Hong Kong stock exchange.
From the beginning, NVC has been an influential leader in China's lighting sector, having the greatest potential for achieving international status through the vision of its management and the teamwork of its employees. Now, within China, NVC has 5 main production centres, and 2 R&D centres in addition to its 3,000 dedicated distribution outlets and 36 regional operating centres.
